How do I earn?
Easy – You get points by interacting with 94.5 Kfm There are 3 easy ways to do this.
Listen out for special keywords throughout the day. When you hear one send it to 33536 in the allocated time and you’ll be rewarded with points.
Bonus codes – Sometimes we’ll give you a chance to earn extra points by sending through a bonus code. These bonus codes could be hidden at a secret location or Ground Patrol might have them. It’s a bit of work but it will be worth it in the end.
Sometime the presenters will give out points for no real reason. Maybe they like your call; you could send them a funny SMS or they will just give you points for entering an on –air competition. The only way to claim these spontaneous points is by listening to 94.5 Kfm all day

Do my points ever expire?
 
Yes – but only at the end of December each year, 90% of your points will automatically expire. During the year, you can save up and accumulate as many points as you want – the more points you accumulate the more access you have to the cool stuff that we’ll have on offer through the year. But we really doubt you’ll be able to hold onto points for long – we’ve got some great stuff in store for you, as a valued member of  KlubVIP.
 
Disputing points e.g. discrepancy on a statement, or transaction not showing, points not correct, etc.
 
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for keywords not getting through to us, due to delays in the networks. We keep the window of opportunity open for a sufficient time period, to ensure you have enough time to enter your keywords. What happens with my personal information?
 
It stays private. KlubVIP is about 94.5 Kfm talking to you and nothing is given to 3rd parties
 
Will I be bombarded with loads of spam mail if I sign up?
 
No – your information is not given out – KlubVIP is about understanding and building a relationship with our listeners and giving you access to great VIP stuff in the process. We’ll only be in touch with you when we have something of value to tell you about KlubVIP, and the great VIP stuff. You are able to unsubscribe from any such notifications about the cool stuff on offer. You can just sms the word UNSUB from your mobile phone to 33536 (R 1.50). (Note: UNSUB means we’ll stop sending you the messages about the cool stuff on offer, and ways to earn points. Whereas DEREG closes your account, and means you’re no longer a member of KlubVip.)
 
Can I deregister?
 
Yes you can. Unfortunately, this means your account will be closed, and you’ll no longer be a member of KlubVip with 94.5 Kfm. To deregister, SMS the your ID number and the word DEREG  to 33536 (R1.50).

How much does VIP Membership cost?
You’re a VIP so you belong to the hottest club in Cape Town for the annual fee of – NOTHING. Yep, membership is free but there are some small costs involved. Sending SMS’s to 33KFM (33536) costs R1.50 per SMS (free SMS bundles cannot be used). Interacting on the web site (kfm.co.za) is free of charge (apart from your usual internet connection costs). And calls to 0862 945 945 are charged at VAS rates (Value added service rates).
 
How long does it take to get stuff delivered to me, once I’ve bought it in the VIP shop?
Please give our Klub VIP hosts and hostesses two weeks to sort out delivery of your prize or experience, or at least to contact you about how to deliver it to you. If you’re having trouble, and think it’s been longer than two weeks, please look under the ‘How do I get more help’ section on this page.
 
What happens when I change my cell phone number?
Your cell phone number is essentially your membership number in KlubVIP, so it’s an important thing to tell us about. Notify us by SMS’ing your ID number and name  from your new phone  to 33KFM (33536). The system will automatically move all your points and transactions to your new number. Note, You cannot change your ID number on your Klub VIP account, and it is your ID that will be used to identify you in the event that you buy something from the Klub VIP shop, or when there is a dispute on your account.
